Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be getting closer to being at a 100%. His form against West Brom on Saturday October 18, had specks of brilliance which were so familiar to his fans last season.
As most Ronaldo fans know, he had surgery on his right ankle in the summer, and isn´t yet at the game form that he wants to be.
Ronaldo however scored his third goal of the season versus West Brom on Saturday. His fans, undoubtedly are awaiting many more.
The first 10 minutes of the game is played at midfield.
17 minutes into the game M. Fernandes shoots a rocket inches over the Albanian Goal. Four minutes later, a Cristiano Ronaldo freekick is punched away by the keeper.
At the 26 minute mark of the game, another Cristiano freekick. This time the ball flies over the crossbar. One minute later, Albania has a great scoring opportunity as the ball gets passed the Portuguese goalkeeper, but Miguel kicks the ball away.
35 minutes in, Cristiano Ronaldo´s freekick is on target. Danny fails to kick the ball which the goalkeeper misshandled, into the back of the net. Three minutes later, Pepe shoots a long shot just wide of the net.
At the 42 minute mark, Teli receives second yellow card of the night for an elbow to Ronaldo´s face, and is sent off the field. Three minutes later, a flurry of action by Portugal in front of the Albanian net.

46 Minute mark of the game Ronaldo makes a great pass to Ferreira who passes in front of the net to Danny, but the keeper makes the save. Four minutes later, M. Fernandes takes a great shot on net and again it is saved by the keeper. Two minutes later, Almeida´s header is saved by the Albanian keeper who has been stellar throughout the game.
54 minutes in, Quaresma replaces Moutinho and Nani replaces Danny.
67 minute mark Almeida´s header hits the post.
74th minute Nuno Gomes replaces Miguel.
80 minute mark, Almeida crosses the ball but the keeper intercepts the pass. Four minutes later, Quaresma makes a great run through the Albanian defense. The keeper makes another tremendous save. Two minutes later, Nuno Gomes makes a great pass to put Nani in the clear, but the keeper once again makes a great save.
