Many of our readers have noticed that we haven’t posted in a while. Being avid Cristiano Ronaldo Fans, we have been following his career for quite some time, and we have also been writing about our favorite footballer for a few years. As often happens, with other responsibilities, we have not been regularly updating this site, but it is not a reflection of our love for Cristiano Ronaldo, we still cherish and respect him. We still think Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s greatest football player, bar none. We just want to let you, our readers, know that we are still here but will be posting on a less frequent basis than we did in the past. That said, we will follow Cristiano Ronaldo’s career with much anticipation and wish him all the best.

Will This Be Cristiano Ronaldo’s New Home In Madrid?

There has been much speculation on where Cristiano Ronaldo will move to in Madrid. The word around the net is that he will be leasing a bachelor bungalow designed by architect Joaquin Torres for approximately �12,000 per month with an option to buy for approximately �5 million. The word is that Cristiano Ronaldo’s new home will have 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 cinema, 1 pool and a number of other luxuries like whirlpool.

With 24 hour per day security and the latest in anti-intrusion alarms, Cristiano’s new pad will hope to ward off the ever present paparazzi who can’t seem to get enough of the former Manchester Winger.

As you can see by the images, Cristiano Ronaldo’s new surroundings will be significantly upgraded and modernized with sleek lines and angles that you would expect from a young and energetic 24 year old mega-super-star footballer like Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lastly, Cristiano Ronaldo’s new home will be only minutes from Madrid’s training ground and because it is a bungalow will reduce the possibility of injury due to slipping on stairs which is no doubt a relief for the Madrid owners who will want to keep their star player injury free.

Cristiano Ronaldo Wins FIFA World Player Award

It is now official.� Cristiano Ronaldo was crowned FIFA World Player just moments ago at the Zurich Opera House.

As expected, the Portugal International has now officially won every major individual Award that any footballer can win at club level.

After Winning the Award, Cristiano Ronaldo said.

It�s a very special and unique moment in my life.� I want to thank my mother, my father, my siblings, my friends and my teammates who have made this moment possible.

I am very happy and want to thank everyone.

Fair Play Award 2008 went to the Turkey and Armenia Football Associations

Presidential Award went to Women�s Football

Woman Player of 2008 went to Marta from Brazil.

We are overwhelmed with joy and want to congratulate Cristiano Ronaldo on Winning this prestigious Award.

Cristiano Ronaldo Rakes In At The UEFA Awards

Cristiano Ronaldo has added another two awards to his growing collection by taking home UEFA’S Club Footballer of the Year prize at the awards ceremony in Monaco on August 28/2008. He also took home the prize for Best Forward for his campaign during the 2007/2008 season.

Chelsea’s Petr Cech won best goalkeeper, John Terry won Best defender and Frank Lampard took home the best midfielder award.

Cristiano had a sensational year, scoring 42 goals in all competitions, 8 goals for Manchester United in the Champions League, including a fabulous header in the final game in Moscow versus Chelsea.

Ronaldo was asked what his secret to success is, in which he replied. “Work”

Giovani Dos Santos Wants To Be The Next Cristiano Ronaldo

The 19 year old Mexican soccer prodigy, Giovani Dos Santos, has stated to Setanta Sports that he wants to be like Cristiano Ronaldo.

The young player joined the Spurs in the English Premier League from Barcelona earlier this summer, and wants to make an impact in the EPL as has Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a massive player and every young footballer would like to be compared to him,” Giovani told Setanta Sports.

“I’d be delighted to achieve what he has achieved in the next three or four years. I’m young and have room for improvement.”

Dos Santos has a lot of pure raw talent, but many have doubts on his impact in the EPL due to his small size, but criticism does not seem to phase the young Mexican.

“I think there are lots of small players that have succeeded in football so my physique is not a problem at all.”

Cristiano Ronaldo Settles Lawsuit With The UK’s Sun Newspaper Over Phoney Story

Cristiano has settled his lawsuit with the Sun Newspaper over a story which was reported in the paper regarding Ronaldo taking his cellphone onto the pitch to send text messages.

Ronaldo’s lawyer, Simon Smith told the High Court in London that the two parties had come to a settlement and their claim was being withdrawn.

The newspaper had reported that ‘Text-mad Ronaldo’ had been fined 8,000 pounds by the club.

The Sun has accepted their reports were wrong and have agreed to pay Ronaldo an undisclosed amount which he will be donating to charity.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a statement via his lawyer to the media regarding the reason why he took legal action against the Sun. saying that he wanted to protect his reputation as a footballer.

He went on to say in his statement that the article gave an impression that he did not take his training seriously, which was inaccurate. “Contrary to the impression the article gave, I take training very seriously and do not want people to think I do not try my best in training,” he said.

The Sun has refused to comment on the matter.
