Spain won their first World Cup last night in a tense game that went into the final moments of the overtime period.

While both teams shared some scoring opportunities, the game remained a scoreless draw until Iniesta kicked the ball past the Dutch goalkeeper with only minutes left in the period.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a public announcement just hours ago on the birth of his first child, a son who was born fifteen days ago, but up until now was kept secret. The child’s mother has not been announced as of yet and it isn’t known how long that secret will remain as such.

In his announcement, Cristiano Ronaldo stated that the child will remain in his care and that the mother wants to remain anonymous.

We wish Cristiano and the new baby all the best.

Many of our readers have noticed that we haven’t posted in a while. Being avid Cristiano Ronaldo Fans, we have been following his career for quite some time, and we have also been writing about our favorite footballer for a few years. As often happens, with other responsibilities, we have not been regularly updating this site, but it is not a reflection of our love for Cristiano Ronaldo, we still cherish and respect him. We still think Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s greatest football player, bar none. We just want to let you, our readers, know that we are still here but will be posting on a less frequent basis than we did in the past. That said, we will follow Cristiano Ronaldo’s career with much anticipation and wish him all the best.

Proving that he is the world’s best footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo knocked in a sweet goal yesterday vs Real Zaragoza. Making it is 4th goal in 5 games, Cristiano is demonstrating that his recent ankle injury may be a thing of the past. Cristiano scored Real Madrid’s 5th goal of the game implementing his incredible skills, feinting 2 or 3 opponents and then side-stepping another to send a perfect goal into the corner of the net. Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent absence, demonstrated how much Real Madrid need him, and it seems his very presence on the pitch is enough to motivate his team-mates to perform at a higher level. Real Madrid are winning games and Cristiano Ronaldo is scoring goals, for Real Madrid fans, it can’t get any better than that.

Cristiano Ronaldo Returns From Ankle Injury

The long anticipated wait for Cristiano Ronaldo’s return saw fruition vs Zurich that saw Real Madrid’s win 1-0 in this Champions League game. Cristiano Ronaldo was a late 70th minute substitute for Raul Gonzalez, which allowed Cristiano to test out his ankle in non training environment.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s substitution was greeted by cheers from the Real fans who have missed their star player. Although too early to tell, it appears that Cristiano Ronaldo’s ankle is strong and apparently pain free.

The Mirror Publicly Apologizes To Cristiano Ronaldo

Following a recent court victory, where Cristiano Ronaldo was granted an undisclosed amount to cover damages to his reputation, the Mirror has publicly apologized to Cristiano Ronaldo for these accusations regarding an alleged drinking ‘bender’. In the apology, the Mirror accepts that their front page article, titled “Ron the Lash”, printed on 17 July of 2008, was ‘falsely reported that whilst recovering from an operation to his ankle’. The apology goes on to state that ‘Cristiano did not “go on a bender”, did not drink any alcohol that evening, did not spend £10,000 on alcohol, nor throw his crutches to the floor or try to dance.’

Cristiano Ronaldo Re-injures His Ankles

Portugal’s 3-0 2010 world cup qualifying victory vs Hungary, came at a very steep price with Cristiano Ronaldo re-injuring his ankle. The injury will most likely keep Cristiano Ronaldo out of Portugal’s match vs Malta on Wednesday and possibly our of Real Madrid’s game vs Valladolid on the weekend.

We wish Cristiano Ronaldo a speedy recovery.

War Of Wizards Breaks Out Around Cristiano Ronaldo

Recently, it has been made public that Cristiano Ronaldo’s ankle injury was allegedly the result of a wizards curse. This wizards curse is being attributed to 57-year-old Spanish Wizard based in Malaga Spain by the name Pepe. According to gossip around the Internet, the Spanish Wizard was allegedly given €15,000 by an unnamed famous non-European woman to put the hex on Cristiano Ronaldo. The spanish wizard has also claimed that he has put his own personal curse on Cristiano Ronaldo with the aim of finishing off Cristiano’s career. The news of the Spanish wizard’s curse reached the ear of a Portuguese wizard by the name of Fernando Nogueira known as ‘The Wizard Of Fafe’ who has supposedly put a counter-spell with the hope of blocking the Spanish Wizards Voodoo curse.

We just hope that Cristiano Ronaldo gets better soon, so our money is on the Portuguese Wizard. That is, if you believe such things .

Cristiano Scores Another Two

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored another two goals for Real Madrid in a Champions League game. Making it four goals in two games and putting Ronaldo in the lead for scoring in the Champions League Competition.

Ronaldo’s first goal of the night came at the 58th minute when he accepted a brilliant pass and kicked the ball under the Marseille’s goaltender’s feet.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s second goal came just six minutes later when he guided the ball into the net after Benzema made a great pass.

Real Madrid won tonight’s game by a score of 3-0.
