Henry Says Messi Is Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo

Henry, the Barcelona striker has publicly stated that Messi is a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Messi is the best. What he does is from another world. He is exceptional,” said Henry.

“After watching Arsenal against Manchester United, I insist Cristiano Ronaldo is one thing and Messi is another. There is no comparison. Messi deserves to win the Ballon d’Or this year.”

Henry’s statements are obviously based on bias and nothing else.  To come to this conclusion after watching one game, as he said, is an absolute insult to football, footballers and football fans.

The Ballon Dór is given to the season´s best player.  There shouldn´t be any doubt in anyone´s mind as to who had the better season last year.

Cristiano Ronaldo´s stats were leaps and bounds ahead of Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo helped Manchester United win the EPL and the Champions League title last year.

Barcelona finished third in La Liga last season with 67 points, ten points behind Villareal and 18 points behind Real Madrid, who won La Liga last season.

Henry does not know what he´s talking about. He should have thought twice before making such a statement to the public, because it just makes him look stupid.

Messi is a great player, but Cristiano is a better player with a much greater season.

Henry needs to wipe the egg off his face.

Henry ws great he had wonderful yrs at Arsenal n he has started to rediscover himself at Barca again….his comment though isnt really appropriate…Ronaldo is currently the better player simply because of last season but as a whole only FOOLS would say Ronaldo is better that Messi….Messi performs when it matters most….Ronaldo doesnt….his trackrecord against Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal is horrible…n it ws his good luck that Man U reached the final after his penalty miss against Barca n even luckier that Man U won it considering he ws da only man u player to miss a penalty in the final….most of his goals have come against small teams n besides if ppl call him a winger….dats crap…simply because atleast 15 goals he scored last season ws all because of Rooney simply because Rooney drifted to the wings and allowed him to function as a striker…..dis season though Ronaldo hasnt done anything gr8 just yet….n its consistency that matters…wich Ronaldo wont have….if he can score even 20 goals dis season it will be an achievement….

Well Ronaldo deserves balloon , what he did last year was amazing , he scored 42 goals , he helped United to win EPL and champions league !!!
Messi is also a great player , everyone likes him , but i dont think he did very well last year , !!!

like henry said you cant compare the 2. even if ronaldo has better stats they both in different leagues with different teams/clubs and with different players. so stats doesnt really mean anything. imo i favour messi if i would say who is better like henry i would choose messi as im a barca fan yes he is bias so am i but isit wrong for supporting your own team and players? so those that bash henry needs to shut up. its his opinion. you won’t expect a teammate to support the other team and not his.

IMO what henry said is appropriate. some people here just never understand people. Henry is a barca player. He will not go and say ronaldo is better while messi is his team mate especially hes been playing with him way more than playing against ronaldo. statically ronaldo is better however these stats arent 100% fair. you people got to understand they both were in different leagues, different club, playing against different teams with different players. Has school ever taught you guys about “fair test”? like what henry said, you cant really compare the 2.

winning six trophies in one year proves messi is the better team player, hence the better overall player because football is a team sport.
