Cristiano Ronaldo In California For ESPY Awards

Cristiano Ronaldo flew to California on Tuesday to attend the ESPY Awards, which will Air on ESPN July 20th. Ronaldo has been nominated for ‘Best Male International Athlete ‘, along with Kaka for Soccer, Manu Ginobili for Basketball and Rafael Nadal for Tennis.

His first meal in California was that of a steak dinner in West Hollywood, but the gossip of his stay in California so far has been the cold shoulder he apparently gave to Paris Hilton in a trendy Hollywood nightclub.

Reports from club goers had Paris Hilton flirting with the young Portugal International after she had pushed her way through a crowd of women who were trying to get his attention. Ronaldo shrugged off the young socialite’s advances and continued to party with friends who have accompanied him to California.

Edit:  Best International male athlete award, was won by Rafael Nadal for Tennis.
