According to the Telegraph in the UK, Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal has apparently got word from Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon that Cristiano Ronaldo will sign for Real Madrid.

According to these reports, Nadal asked Calderon “where is this Crisitiano Ronaldo that Real are supposed to be signing”?  The reported response from the Real Madrid president to Nadal was “Relax, Rafa, everything’s under control. We’ve got him done and dusted.”

The news will undoubtedly anger Manchester United who desperately want to hang on to Ronaldo.

Ramon Calderon and United chief executive, David Gill were scheduled to meet in Nyon on Monday to discuss the never ending speculation which has surrounded Cristiano Ronaldo, however the Real Madrid president chose to fly to Madrid for a board meeting instead.

Other reports claim that Cristiano Ronaldo told a supporter who had sneaked into his hospital room, that he was relishing a new beginning in Spain.  According to the fan, David Jolly, Ronaldo told him that “I hope I’ll be as good in Spain as I was in England.

Cristiano Ronaldo7.com will continue to update you on the transfer saga which has everyone in the world of football talking.

OMG,

when will this end?

come United, just sell him to Madrid, cut your damn losses and stop being stupid about this!

3. Michelle - July 10, 2008

everyone’s getting in on the action.

The Reds need to end this and let him go. It’s starting to get silly

Hey Meg, Jack and Michelle

We also agree that this transfer saga is getting out of hand. Although we want him to stay at Manchester, we also know that Ronny wants to go to Madrid. Therefore, We hope that United make that right choice and let him go. It’s of no use to keep a player on the team by force.

thanks for your comments guys. Always nice to hear from our readers.

I think Cristiano should go to Real because the air between Cristiano and Alex Ferguson can never be renewed.

6. Freddie - July 14, 2008

Isnt Nani a pretty good substitute man?

7. Ronny7_Admin - July 17, 2008

Hey Freddie, I think you’re on to something. The relationship between Fergie and Ronny might never be mended, and therefore a transfer may be the only real solution. We agree that Nani is a great footballer, but his lack of discipline on the pitch may take a few years to be sorted out.

remember what legend pele said if someone wants to go let him do so because if you force him to play in your team he will be playing but NOT with his heart there nothing good or beautiful will happen and remember the english wise men dint went wrong while they said, beautiful and good things come in the bootom of the heart.release him fergie for the good of MAN U

9. Ronny7_Admin - July 19, 2008

Hey HadiBOY,

You have taken the words out of our mouths. Ronny’s heart doesn’t seem to belong to Manchester. As this issue drags on, bitter feelings will prevail to the detriment of all involved.

As we’ve mentioned on other posts, the heart doesn’t always choose the correct path. Going to Madrid could be Ronny’s biggest mistake, but that is a path that feels right to him. We will support him regardless.

Hey Jeff and Peter,

Now’s the time to stand behind Manchester and Cristiano. Sir Alex has asked the fans to rally behind him. Let’s do it for the team.
