Another Award For Cristiano Ronaldo..
On Thursday May 29, 2008, Cristiano Ronaldo received yet another award. His latest being ‘The Best Portuguese Athlete Playing Outside Of Portugal’
He was very gracious in his acceptance of his newest award, but took the opportunity to address the public regarding the Portuguese National Team.
“Only as a team are we able to win” He told the group of journalists.
The Portuguese National Squad are holding practices in Viseu Portugal, and Ronaldo thanked the locals for the great support of the team which they have shown.
“We are very proud of the tremendous support the people of Viseu have given us. Cristiano went on to say that the team is working very hard to have a great showing in this year’s Euro Cup.

We absolutely agree with all your statements. Ronny is definitely deserving of every award this year, including player of the year. Portuguese people everywhere have a reason to be proud not only because he is a champion, but because he has done it with class.
