It’s no secret that Real Madrid have been trying to lure Cristiano Ronaldo away from Manchester United for some time. The general consensus is that Cristiano will remain with Manchester for the next several years and then make his move to Spain to fulfill a life-long ambition to play for Real.
But a new quote by Cristiano Ronaldo, given to Spanish football news ‘Marca’ and later reported by Goal.com, has once again sparked trade rumors. When asked about his future, Cristiano Ronaldo replied by saying. “For my future, I neither know nor want to talk about it. After the Champions League final, we can talk about it.”
Knowing that Alex Ferguson has a history of offloading superstars at their peak, and that Real Madrid have very deep pockets, will no doubt leave Manchester United faithful feeling a tad nervous.
In the meantime however, Cristiano Ronaldo is focused on the next two games. The Champions League final and their last league game versus Wigan on May 11.



I guess you never say never these days. What I wonder about is how much the off-field Ronaldo (marketing) is worth. He’s a very important player but United a so good now that I think they could win without him. But then why would you want to? He brings in money, he bangs in goals…
